Internet Addiction Made ​​Adolescents Experiencing Behavioral Disorders

Researchers from the Chinese Academy of Science has published results of research that teenagers are addicted to the Internet will experience behavioral disorders such as anxiety, emotional disorders, problematic social relationships, and difficulty managing time.

Chinese researchers cross-sectional scans of the brain were detected teens suffer from Internet addiction disorder (IAD) and 20 normal adolescent brain sections. Researchers then compare and analyze the physiological cross section of the brain the teens.

The result, adolescents with Internet addiction disorder have a problem with the cross section of his brain. The researchers concluded that the brain is not healthy adolescents with IAD, thus affecting their behavior.

In adolescents brain with IAD found damage in the brain white matter fibers connecting the brain function of the processing of emotion, attention, decision making, and cognitive control.

Even so the results of this study can not be accepted at face value. For a small number of study participants and the results not only demonstrate significance overall.

In addition, Internet addiction is a relatively new disorder. Though larger studies using other terms have been done. But the study was not recognized and not universally accepted.
