The Health Most Asked in Prayer

That sick is expensive seems more lived by many people. No exception in developed countries like the United States. An analysis of survey data shows more and more people in the country who pray for health.

The data are taken from the National Health Interview Survey in 2002 involving 30.080 adults in 2007 and involving 22.306 adults. The result, compared to 2002, an increase from 43 percent to 49 percent the number of people who prayed want to be healthy. In 1999, the number of people who pray the same thing even only 14 percent.

According to the survey, people who rarely pray for their health is usually a routine exercise. Maybe because they feel they have no health problems. In addition, people who have money are also usually rare in prayed.

According to an analysis published in the journal of Psychology of Religion and Spirituality, adults who pray more years continued to increase. People who suffer from depression as well as tooth pain also reported as the group most often prayed for healing.

"We were surprised with the results of this analysis. Formerly we suspect this is related to the events of 9/11 but it is hypothetical that has not been proven. It seems more important is perceived by the people globally." Said Amy Wachholtz, Director of Health Psychology at the University of Massachusetts.
